Biography

Taylor Dillon has been serving as the Upper School Counselor at Columbus Academy since the 2022-23 school year. She came to Academy after spending time as a clinical outreach social worker providing individual and group counseling services to adolescents. Her experience also includes utilizing trauma-informed care and other therapeutic strategies such as ARC, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused theory. Taylor is a certified licensed independent social worker and has a B.A. in sociology and criminology from John Carroll University and master's degree in social work from The Ohio State University. Taylor and her husband Patrick have two sons, Cameron ‘37 and Charlie, and the family has two cats named Ruby and Tabitha.

"I love to host game nights at my house with friends and family, I'm a self proclaimed crazy cat lady, and enjoy relaxing by a pool or beach in the summer time."
