Maria Miller P’24 will become Columbus Academy’s assistant head of school for development on February 26, 2025, announced Head of School Melissa Soderberg today. Columbus Academy math and computer science teacher Chris Bolognese has been selected as a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching, announced by President Joe Biden on January 13, 2025.

Weston Outlaw will become Columbus Academy’s chief financial and operations officer on July 1, 2025, Head of School Melissa Soderberg announced today. Weston will begin this role following the June 2025 retirement of Maggie Koerner, who has admirably served as the school’s chief financial officer since 1993.
