Susan Goode began her role as bursar in the business office at Columbus Academy on July 20, 2020. Susan began working in accounting after high school and has since held various administrative and accounting roles including as a accounts payable accountant at CAPA in Columbus, business manager for the Dance Exchange in Takoma Park, Maryland, as well as an accountant at Fonkoze USA and finance assistant with The Phillips Collection in Washington D.C. She returned to college, after a twelve year hiatus, to study dance at Mount Holyoke College. While in western Massachusetts, she encountered a moving meditation practice called Contemplative Dance/Authentic Movement and has continued to stay engaged with the practice by providing administrative and onsite support for their ongoing workshop offerings. Susan's favorite way to escape is to go on camping and hiking trips with her husband.
