Sierra Hamilton joined the Columbus Academy faculty as a first grade associate teacher at the start of the 2024-25 school year. She also works as a lead for Explorers and pre-kindergarteners with CASE, our after-school program. Sierra came to Academy after serving five years between time spent as arts administrator at The Ohio State University Urban Arts Space and as a visitor engagement facilitator at the Columbus Museum of Art. Her previous work in the arts includes being a visiting artist for 2024 ArtsMania on campus and serving as co-curator for an exhibit in our Morris Hall Art Gallery during October 2023. Sierra also worked with our Summer Experience program during the summer of 2024. Sierra holds a B.A. from Ohio State where she graduated magna cum laude in visual arts with a minor in design-thinking and arts entrepreneurship. In 2023-24, she was also a part of the Artist-in-Residence Program at Arts Impact Middle School.
