Patrick Skahan began serving as the director of admissions at Columbus Academy in July 2024. He is also an assistant coach with our football team. Patrick came to Academy from Viewpoint School in Calabasas, California, where he worked for 14 years between roles as director of alumni relations and time spent as a major gift officer, culminating in work as associate director of admissions and director of football. Prior to Viewpoint, Patrick worked in college counseling, taught history, coached football and was head of the main dormitory over the course of two school years at Salisbury School in Connecticut. He holds a B.A. in history from Yale University as well as a M.B.A. and M.S.S.M. from Ohio University. Patrick and his wife Kelley (also an Ohio University alum) have three daughters: Kinley '35, Rory '38 and Tatum.
