Alicia Morris joined the Columbus Academy faculty as an associate teacher in fourth grade at the start of the 2024-25 school year. She came to Academy after working four years as a teacher facilitator with Shorelight Education, which connects international students, universities across the country and service providers to drive student enrollment. Prior to her most recent work, Alicia was an English language assistant in Spain for the Spanish Ministry of Education for two years, this after two years spent as a teacher and independent contractor with VIPKid, an online educational service. She also previously served as an associate producer for Good Day Columbus seen on local news stations ABC6/FOX28. Alicia holds a B.A. in communications with a concentration in media production from the University of Akron. She also obtained a Spanish minor during a summer abroad with a host family in Spain.

"I grew up horseback riding and was an equestrian jumper for nine years. I still take lessons and jump when I can. Anytime I'm around horses I'm happy."
