Kevin Fish began his first year as a technology and integration specialist at the start of the 2024-25 school year. He will be teaching robotics and electronics while also serving as an assistant advisor with our Robotics Club. Kevin joins Academy after serving in several roles at Marburn Academy including as a technology teacher and robotics coach, before transitioning to teach dramatic arts and be the theatrical artistic director. Prior to Marburn, Kevin worked for nine years in Worthington City Schools as a theatre technician. He also has experience in stop-motion animation and as a professional puppet artist. He has also worked with our after-school program, CASE, since 2023. Kevin holds a B.F.A. in theatre arts and puppet arts from the University of Connecticut, is an Apple certified educator and has his Orton-Gillingham classroom certification. Kevin and his wife Shelly - who serves as executive director of Highland Youth Garden on the hilltop in West Columbus - have two children: a son, Gabriel, a 2023 graduate of Reed College with a focus on environmental anthropology, and a daughter, Eliza, who will begin studying at Hampshire College in August 2024.
