Brock Bethel joined the Columbus Academy faculty as a fifth grade associate teacher at the start of the 2023-24 school year and then moved into his current role as a lead third grade teacher in August 2024. He came to Academy after having been a teacher for 18 years and time spent as a sales representative with PepsiCo. He holds a degree in kindergarten through eighth grade education from West Liberty University and a master's degree in administration from Ashland University. Brock and his wife Sarah Milks-Bethel, who graduated in the Academy Class of 1998, have a son Jack '33 who attends Academy.
