Biography

Mike Weible joined the Columbus Academy faculty in 2013 and has been a lead teacher for our Explorers Program since 2018. He also serves as team leader for the Explorers. Mike previously taught PreK and kindergarten on campus. He recently presented at the Natural Start Alliance International Conference alongside other ECP educators on their journey in nature-based early learning. Prior to joining Academy, Mike was an elementary teacher in Gahanna Jefferson Public Schools, program director for Darimar Martial Arts, as well as owner and operator of MWTS. He also worked in various information technology positions including IT support and senior systems administrator for Delta Design, engineering technician and IT support for Schlumberger Technologies, senior process technician for Harris Semiconductor, and as a test program engineer with General Dynamics. He holds a B.S. in electronics engineering technology from DeVry Institute of Technology and completion of a bachelor's plus licensure program for PreK-Grade 3. Mike and his wife, Kathy, have two children: a daughter, Megan, and a son, Eric.
