On January 7-9, Columbus Academy Student Theatre presented "The Glass Menagerie" as our upper school fall play in the Schoedinger Theatre.
"This is a classic Tennessee Williams show that everyone should really enjoy," stated director Scott Dillon during dress rehearsals. "It's a small cast, split into two groups, which allows us to rehearse and perform safely while coping with this pandemic, and I think the themes will resonate with the audience."
To ensure social distancing, only a limited number of general admission seats were sold for each of the three performances.
“After attending the opening night production of The Glass Menagerie, both my wife and I were in tears,” said faculty member Chris Bolognese. “The production and performance were so incredibly well done. Bravo to Scott Dillon, the performers and the crew for such a thoughtful production.”
