Moira Jenkins

Moira Jenkins will be a lead PreK teacher with Sarah Penney at Columbus Academy at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year. She has taught in many types of educational settings, most recently coming from a combined Preschool and Kindergarten classroom at New Albany Montessori School. She also was previously a lead teacher at Jewish Community Center East in New Albany. Originally from Michigan, Moira considers Ohio her home ever since graduating from Denison University with a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies. She then went on to obtain a teaching credential from the American Montessori Society. Moira lives with her husband Peter and their three children, and together they enjoy trailer camping and visiting national parks.
