Karla Crucke joined the College Counseling Office at Columbus Academy as the Assistant Director of College Counseling in April 2022. Outside of her main duties, Karla also coaches junior varsity girls tennis. Karla has over 15 years of combined experience in college admissions and as a college counselor at an independent school. She spent four years as Associate Director of College Guidance at the Laurel School in Cleveland and the rest of her professional career in the admissions offices at Georgia Tech, UNC Charlotte and Case Western Reserve among other institutions of higher learning. Karla obtained her B.A. from The Ohio State University, M.Ed. in higher education administration from The University of Akron and M.Ed. in school counseling from the University of Dayton. She is also a licensed school counselor. Karla has a daughter, Gabrielle '31, who attends Academy.
