Biography

John Exline has been a member of the Columbus Academy faculty since 1968 and currently teaches history and economics in the upper school. A graduate in the Academy Class of 1964, John has served in several positions on campus including as director of athletics, head of middle school, director of summer school, director of summer programs, and head varsity boys basketball coach. He holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a M.Ed. from The Ohio State University. John and his wife, Ann, have four adult children: Adam ’97, Elizabeth, who is an associate director of admissions at Academy, Katherine, and Andrew ’04.
