Join Columbus Academy's Service Board for the very popular Apple-Picking Service Event at Lynd Fruit Farm in Pataskala from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24. Pick a bag for your family and one (or more!) to donate to local food pantries. Prices are $25 for small (10 lb.) bags and $35 for large (25 lb.) bags.
Please enter the orchard on the north side of Morse Road, west of 310. There is a brown barn at the entrance drive: look for the maroon Columbus Academy "Service Event" signs and Lynd greeters, who will direct you to our white tent within the orchard. If you map to 9680 Morse Road, Pataskala 43062, this will get you very close!
After you purchase the apples at the farm exit, upper-schoolers will be waiting to collect your apple donations. Students count and deliver donated apples to as many pantries as possible, depending on the volume collected. Last year, an incredible 1,640 pounds of apples were collected by Academy families supporting three local food pantries. Thank you for your time and energy to help those in need!
