Erika Feigles will begin her first year as a learning specialist in the Upper School at Columbus Academy at the start of the 2024-25 school year. She also will serve as our junior varsity girls soccer coach this fall. Erika brings 10 years of teaching experience including most recently as a math teacher in Columbus City Schools. She previously taught math and was the district mathematics instructional coach for six years at Westminster Public Schools in Colorado, to go along with three years as a middle division teacher at nearby Marburn Academy and time spent as a curriculum author with Novel Ideas. Erika holds a B.A. from Muhlenburg College, M.S. in education from the University of Pennsylvania and M.A. in special education from the University of Colorado. During her time at UPenn, Erika was a GE Scholar. Erika and her partner Tim Tignor have two Bernedoodles named Bear and Moosie.
