Debbie Asirifi began serving as a first grade associate teacher at Columbus Academy at the start of the 2022-23 school year. She is a lifelong writer, has served as writer/editor for various lifestyle and entertainment magazines, as well as a copywriter for retail marketing teams. Today she's a children's literature author with internationally published teen novels, chapter books and now, picture books. When she is not chasing writing deadlines, Debbie enjoys meeting friends for coffee, dancing in her kitchen, and joking with her family. She holds a B.A. from Rutgers University. Debbie and her husband delight in Columbus life with their two children and a rescue dog named Rosie.
