Thank you to everyone to participated in the 2023 Charlie David Dinner! It was wonderful to see more than 1,250 members of our community gathering together, and we appreciate your special support of our Viking student-athletes.
What is the Charlie David Dinner?
The Charlie David Dinner the largest community event of the year for Columbus Academy families! This annual event, now in its 41st year, is named for a dedicated parent volunteer who organized a pregame dinner for Academy families to support athletics. Join us for food, games for kids, and fun for the whole family before the varsity football game against Fort Loramie.
What does the Charlie David Dinner support?
Proceeds are used for sport-specific needs (e.g. equipment, jerseys, transportation) as well as student fitness and training programs. Because contributions to this booster event are restricted gifts that augment the school’s operating budget for athletics, donations to Charlie David Dinner are not Annual Fund gifts.

* Bottled waters and non-caffeinated, non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for all in attendance.
Unable to attend? You can still support our student-athletes! Be a sponsor, donate to your favorite athletics program, purchase raffle tickets or buy a meal ticket that will be donated to a faculty/staff member.
The Parking Spot Raffle is Back!
Parents and guardians, this is your chance to snag the most sought-after prize of all: a coveted parking space for the entire school year! Tired of circling endlessly or settling for inconvenient parking spots? Enter to win a prime spot in the Lower School/Athletics parking lot, Middle School/Academy Hall parking lot, or Upper School parking lot. You may enter to win whichever parking spot(s) you prefer, as many times as you would like! However, winning parking spots are limited to one per household, per year. Winning parents/guardians are welcome to gift the secured spot to their student driver.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers help make this event an even bigger success! Click here to sign up! Volunteers help to ensure a friendly welcome and easy check-in process and the event space is festive and kept clean. There are a variety of shifts to choose from and those will be listed here soon. It's fun to volunteer in pairs, so consider having a spouse or Academy parent friend join you. We have a job for everyone! Well, almost everyone; we want the kids to have fun, and there are activities for all ages, so please NO student volunteers.
