Casey Lober, MS, LAT, ATC, is the outreach athletic trainer from Nationwide Children's Hospital (NCH) for Columbus Academy athletic teams. A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Casey is a nationally-certified athletic trainer and is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers’ board. Prior to joining NCH, she worked with The Orthopedic Group at Monongahela Valley Hospital as an outreach athletic trainer at Charleroi School District. Casey received her B.S. in athletic training at Kent State University, where she worked with multiple collegiate sport teams including football, women’s lacrosse and women’s volleyball. Casey continued her education at Pennsylvania Western University: California, earning a M.S. in exercise science and health promotion with a concentration in sport psychology. While earning her master’s, Casey worked as graduate assistant athletic trainer at Pennwest, working primarily with the football and track and field teams.
