Biography
Ben Johnson began teaching Spanish in the Lower School at Columbus Academy at the start of the 2021-22 school year. He grew up in Columbus, earned a Ph.D. in Spanish at Columbia University, where he later worked as a lecturer, and lived for several years in Bogotá, Colombia. He also obtained a teaching license for Spanish in grades K-12 from the Ohio Department of Education. Ben and his wife have two children, and in his free time, he likes to ride his bike and read novels.
