April Krabill has taught middle school language arts at Columbus Academy since 2017. She previously taught English at Teays Valley High School for nine years, including courses in American literature, world literature, and senior capstone. April is currently a doctoral student at The University of Illinois working toward and Ed.D. in Learning Design and Leadership. She also holds a B.A. in secondary education from the University of Akron and a M.A. in secondary education from The Ohio State University, having graduated summa cum laude from both institutions. April and her husband, Jon, have three boys, Jackson, Jarrett, and Grayson, as well as two dogs, Layla and Lucy.

“My favorite place to eat is a little Italian restaurant in Akron called Luigi's. The atmosphere is truly wonderful and fills me with nostalgia, and of course, the pizza is amazing!”
