Biography
Alexis Baker began teaching second grade at Columbus Academy at the start of the 2023-24 school year. Prior to Academy, Alexis spent five years teaching first and second grade at Pritchardville Elementary School in Bluffton, South Carolina, where she was named Outstanding District Mentor. Alexis started her career teaching kindergarten for three years at Southwestern City Schools. She obtained a B.A. in early childhood education and dance from Wittenberg University. Alexis has two Shetland Sheepdogs named Savannah and Georgia.
